The 2026 Newtown Scholarship Association application is now open!

Graduating high school seniors interested in the Hertberg Family Foundation Scholarship must complete their application by Friday, March 27. The deadline for all other high school Class of 2026 scholarships is Friday, April 10. Please note that students who are continuing their education must complete the returning college student application by July 1.

Please share these deadlines with any senior who attends Newtown High School, any senior who lives in Newtown and attends high school elsewhere, or any college student who is a current recipient of an NSA award.

The Newtown Scholarship Association exists to make education more affordable for Newtown students. Founded in 1937 and attaining 501(c)3 tax exempt status in 1963, the organization is run by a volunteer Board of Governors and raises funds through direct appeal and fundraising events.
