Gratitude from Scholarship Recipients

This past semester, I was able to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Studying abroad was such an incredible and enriching cultural and educational experience! I would not have had this opportunity if it were not for the Newtown Scholarship Association. Grace, University of Vermont

I am so grateful for the help I have received, because it has allowed me to cultivate and pursue new interests in an environment that feels tailor-made for me; I am able to attend an institution which makes me excited about learning year after year. Mackenzie, Dickinson College

Receiving the Newtown Scholarship Association scholarship has been a tremendous blessing, significantly alleviating the financial burdens of tuition and expenses. This generous support has allowed me to focus more intently on my studies and athletic commitments, rather than worrying about financial strains. Chase, Gordon College

In my sophomore year of college I was awarded scholarships through the Newtown Scholarship Association. With this money I was able to cover my materials fees for college and get my laptop repaired. Because of your generosity, I was able to continue pursuing my academic goals with significantly less financial stress. I am now going into my Senior year of college. Danielle, Central Connecticut State University

Newtown Scholarship Association has meant so much to me. It has allowed me to pursue a degree in Education/Psychology, with special education certification, and to spend one semester studying abroad in Madrid Spain. For the past two summers, I have been able to give back to my Newtown community by working as a summer school teacher in Newtown Public Schools. This opportunity was made possible through the help of the Newtown Scholarship Association. Aidan, Marist College
